Basically, all I did was cut a 10" x 10" sheet of one of the patterned sides of the Sweet Cheri papers and rounded the corners and then matted it to one of the coordinating solid sides of the papers. I cut a strip of the border paper and ran that across the top about 1 1/2" from the top edge. Next I took a strip of the coordinating rubons and used the entire border on a vanilla strip of cardstock and adhered that towards the bottom of the layout. Again about 1 1/2" from the bottom edge. I matted my two photos with the vanilla cardstock and placed them in the center of the layout. I just added a few of the dimensional Sweet Cheri stickers for accent and matted one of the cardstock stickers for part of the title on the top right corner of the layout.
For the first part of the title I used some pink foam letter stickers and made them a little darker with chalk ink.
And lastly I added my journaling. Seriously this was a quick layout.
And if you have read this far. I thank you. So now for the fun (giveaway part). Do a quick 30 minute of less layout and post a picture on your blog or in a gallery and post a link here under this post in the comment section. I also want to know exactly how long it took you to complete the layout. Come on be honest. You can do it. The deadline is this Saturday night (Jan. 16th) at midnight. I know people work and this should give anyone time to participate.
What are you trying for? How about a Glossy Paper Pack of Sweet Cheri: http://www.imaginisce.com/ProductDetail.aspx?id=1111. And how about upping the ante here. If your layout uses more than 50% of Imaginisce products, I will through in some coordinating embellishments. And for those of you who just have boys and don't think you can use the Sweet Cheri line I will give you some papers from the "Let's Roll" line by Imaginisce: http://www.imaginisce.com/Products.aspx?col=41.
So what are you waiting for? Get scrappin. Oh, and I am one of those scrappers that I was talking about in the first part of the post. I am so behind on my scrapping. But hey at least I will always have a hobby!
